Sean P. Banda

Managing Director

Born and raised in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, Sean Banda brings global perspective, entrepreneurial drive, and international business expertise to Karonga Diamonds. Having lived in the United States from the age of 16, his cross-cultural experience, international networks, and background in logistics, sales, and commercial development play a key role in positioning Karonga Diamonds as a globally recognised Zimbabwean luxury brand.

Tawanda B. Sai

Chief Operations Officer

Tawanda Sai is a strategic business professional with experience spanning banking, technology, information management, and mining across Zimbabwe and Namibia. His expertise in operations management, business intelligence, financial systems, and process optimisation strengthens Karonga Diamonds’ operational excellence, innovation, and long-term growth strategy.

Robin S Bhebhe

Sales & Marketing 

Robin Bhebhe combines entrepreneurial vision, international diamond expertise, and global industry networks to help drive Karonga Diamonds’ growth and brand positioning. A De Beers bursary recipient, GIA scholarship holder, and former top student at the Kimberley International Diamond & Jewellery Academy, Robin plays a key role in connecting Zimbabwe’s beauty, craftsmanship, and heritage with luxury markets around the world.

Desmond M. Ratsoma

Purchases & Production

With over 15 years of experience in the diamond industry and qualifications from globally respected institutions such as the GIA, Desmond Ratsoma brings world-class craftsmanship, technical expertise, and leadership to Karonga Diamonds. Passionate about empowerment and skills development, he has trained over 350 students, helping shape the next generation of African diamond professionals while advancing the company’s commitment to excellence and meaningful impact.

Shanice N. Chigumba

Sales & Marketing 

Shanice brings strategic leadership, ESG expertise, and strong governance insight to Karonga Diamonds. As an HR Executive and Non-Executive Director at Crest Chemicals, she leads CSR, ESG, and marketing initiatives within Zimbabwe’s mining sector, while bringing experience from UNICEF-partnered work in gender, child protection, social protection, and monitoring and evaluation.
With a Social Science degree from UCT and ongoing LLB studies through the University of London, Shanice combines analytical depth, human rights awareness, and a passion for heritage-driven impact.

Bengani Nyoni

Brand Specialist

Born and raised in Zimbabwe, Bengani Nyoni combines entrepreneurial leadership, diamond industry expertise, and strong networks to support Karonga Diamonds’ growth. Trained in diamond cutting, polishing, and grading through the Kimberley International Diamond & Jewellery Academy and the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), he brings technical precision and a strong understanding of luxury branding and client experience. As Founder and CEO of Crest Haven Property Solutions and Crest Haven Student Living, his leadership and mentorship-driven approach help position Karonga Diamonds as a globally recognised Zimbabwean luxury brand rooted in craftsmanship, heritage, and excellence.
